Baggallini Review: Anti-Theft Crossbodies, Travel Bags, Shipping Costs and Returns

Baggallini makes lightweight nylon crossbodies, slings, backpacks, totes and travel bags known for their many pockets, and its Securtex® anti-theft line adds RFID card slots, slash-resistant panels and locking zippers. The brand says it was founded by two flight attendants, and its online store at baggallini.com ships only within the United States. Most crossbodies cost $75 to $140, travel bags and backpacks $115 to $185, and the 4 Wheel Carry-On $225 to $295.
This review covers what Baggallini sells, the measurements and materials worth comparing, prices, shipping costs, the return and warranty terms, and the offers listed on the site.
At a glance Checked October 2026
Baggallini suits travelers and commuters who want a light, organized bag with dedicated slots for a phone, cards and keys, and anti-theft features on some styles. The main things to know are that shipping is fairly expensive under the $100 free-shipping line, shipping charges are not refunded on returns, and the store does not ship outside the US.

What Baggallini sells
The crossbody category alone lists more than 100 styles and the travel category more than 120, many repeated in several colors. The main groups are:
- Crossbodies and slings. The core of the range, from small pocket bags and the Modern Everywhere Bagg to slings such as the Central Park and Daytripper.
- Securtex® anti-theft bags. Two lines, Classic and Jet Set, including crossbodies, slings and a backpack, with features designed to deter pickpockets and bag snatchers.
- Travel bags. Weekenders, convertible travel backpacks and a 4 Wheel Carry-On spinner suitcase.
- Backpacks and work bags. Laptop backpacks such as the Tribeca and Chelsea, plus totes and shoppers.
- Other collections. Coastal Flip Lock, Stanton, Perry, a BG Active range and a Coco Rocha collection, along with a sale section.

Size, materials and anti-theft features to compare
Baggallini's product pages list exterior dimensions, weight and capacity in liters, which makes comparisons easier than with many handbag brands. Here is what to look at:
- Dimensions and capacity. The Securtex® Classic Anti-Theft Crossbody measures 8.25 x 8.25 x 1 inches, weighs 9 oz and holds 2.6 liters, which is a flat bag for a phone, cards and keys. The Modern Everywhere Bagg is 11 x 9 x 5 inches, 12 oz and 6.2 liters, more than double the volume, so compare capacity figures rather than photos.
- Strap length. Not every page gives it. The Modern Everywhere Bagg lists a 52-inch removable adjustable strap; the anti-theft crossbody page does not state a length, so check before ordering if you are tall or want to wear it over a coat.
- Anti-theft features. On the Securtex® Classic crossbody these are three RFID-protected card slots, interior slash-resistant panels, a cut-resistant double cable strap, a second cut-resistant strap that can be attached to a chair or post, and locking zippers. Standard bags may include only an RFID wristlet or none of these.
- Organization. Expect key leashes, lipstick loops, phone pockets and, on travel styles, a luggage handle sleeve that slides over a suitcase handle.
- Fabric. The materials page lists TruNylon (a washed nylon labeled water repellent), Premier Twill nylon, B-Lite nylon made from 100% recycled nylon, recycled Gloss Ripstop, water-resistant EcoPuff and a textured Heathered Heritage fabric. The brand says the Modern Everywhere collection is water repellent and machine washable.

Shipping
Baggallini ships to the contiguous 48 states, Washington DC, Alaska, Hawaii, US territories and APO/FPO/DPO addresses. It does not ship to Canada or anywhere outside the US. The site banner offers free shipping on orders of $100 or more; the shipping page does not say which method the free offer covers. Otherwise the rates are:
- Economy: $12.95, 7–10 business days after processing
- Standard: $15.95, 3–7 business days after processing
- Expedited: $34.95, 2–3 business days after processing
- Rush: $42.95, 1–2 business days if placed by noon ET on a weekday
Orders placed after noon ET begin processing the next business day. Alaska, Hawaii and US territories usually take 7–10 business days, and APO/FPO/DPO orders travel by USPS in about 21 business days, with no express option.
Returns and warranty
Returns. Unused merchandise bought on baggallini.com can be returned for a full refund within 30 days of receiving the order. Items must be unused, in original condition with tags attached, and bags with patches applied are not eligible. Final Sale items cannot be returned. You start a return online with your order number, email and billing ZIP code, and the return label arrives by email; the policy does not say whether a fee is deducted for the label. Baggallini does not offer exchanges, so you return the item and place a new order. Refunds post 5–10 business days after the warehouse processes the return, and original shipping charges are not refunded. Bags bought at department or specialty stores go back to that store.
Warranty. Bags bought from an authorized seller carry a one-year warranty against defects in material and workmanship, such as stitching problems, broken zippers or hardware and strap issues. It excludes misuse, accidents, normal wear and tear and damage caused by airlines or other carriers. You submit photos of the defect to customer service, and approved claims get a replacement of the same or a similar bag; Baggallini does not accept defective bags shipped back to its warehouse.

Who should buy from Baggallini
- Travelers who want an organized crossbody or sling for airports and sightseeing, especially with the Securtex® anti-theft features.
- Everyday commuters who prefer light nylon over leather and like a set place for every item.
- Shoppers buying two items or a larger bag, which reaches the $100 free-shipping line.
Think twice if you want structured leather handbags, if you live outside the US, or if you are buying a single bag under $100 and may want to return it, since shipping is charged and not refunded.
