Rezi Review: AI Resume Builder Plans, the $149 Lifetime Option, Refunds and Limits

Rezi is an online AI resume builder that also writes cover letters and resignation letters, scores your resume, matches it against job descriptions and runs mock interviews. It works in the browser, with a Chrome extension and a mobile app. There is a free plan, a Pro plan at $29 per month, a one-time Lifetime plan at $149 and an Enterprise plan for universities, agencies and career sites.
This review covers what Rezi does, what each plan includes, the main features, the refund and billing rules, what its privacy policy says, and who it suits. We did not build a resume with Rezi for this article; the details come from Rezi's pricing page, feature pages and legal page.
At a glance Checked October 2026
Rezi suits job seekers who want structured, ATS-friendly resume templates plus AI help tailoring each resume to a job posting. The free plan is enough to build one resume and download it as a PDF three times. Pro unlocks unlimited resumes, Word and Google Drive export and a monthly human resume review, and the $149 Lifetime plan is a one-off alternative. Paid plans carry a 30-day money-back guarantee.
- Best for: Job seekers applying to many roles who want to tailor keywords and bullet points for each posting.
- Typical price: Free; Pro $29/month; Lifetime $149 once; Enterprise $99/month per 200 users.
- Free plan: 1 resume, 1 AI interview, 3 PDF downloads, standard templates, AI writer and editor, limited Rezi Score and keyword targeting. No card needed.
- Refunds: full refund on Pro and Lifetime if requested within 30 days of purchase.
- Watch out for: Pro is billed monthly with no annual option listed, and Pro and Lifetime are licensed for personal use only.
What Rezi does
Rezi is built around a resume editor with templates designed to be read by applicant tracking systems (ATS), the software many employers use to collect and filter applications. You can start from scratch or upload an existing resume. Around the editor, Rezi adds:
- AI writing tools for bullet points, summaries, cover letters and resignation letters.
- Rezi Score, which the company says checks your resume against 23 metrics.
- AI Keyword Targeting, which scans a job description you paste in and suggests keywords missing from your resume.
- An AI Resume Agent that lets you write, tailor and score a resume through a chat.
- AI Interview, mock interview practice with questions based on your resume and the job.
- Job search tools, a Chrome extension that autofills applications, and an iOS app that scores job listings against your resume.
Rezi makes some strong marketing claims, including "62% of Rezi users land an interview" on the pricing page and a "62.18% review rate for applicants" compared with an industry "average of ~3%" on the homepage. These are the company's own figures; we could not see how they are measured, and no resume tool can guarantee interviews or a job.

Plans and pricing
Prices are in US dollars. The pricing page listed four options at the time of writing:
- Free ($0): 1 resume, 1 AI interview, 3 PDF downloads, the Standard template format, the AI Resume Writer, AI Resume Editor and AI summary writer, and limited versions of Rezi Score, Keyword Targeting and real-time content analysis. A human resume review is available from $8.
- Pro ($29 per month): unlimited resumes, AI interviews and PDF downloads, Word (.docx) download and Google Drive export, all template formats, the full Rezi Score and Keyword Targeting, the AI cover letter and resignation letter writers, and one expert resume review per month, which Rezi says is done by a person.
- Lifetime ($149, one payment): the same features as Pro with permanent access, but without the free monthly expert review, which can be bought separately.
- Enterprise ($99 per month per 200 users): for universities, agencies and career sites. Adds education videos, domain restriction, team roles, group delegation, resume review management, single sign-on and webhooks.
Pro is listed only as a monthly price; we did not see a quarterly or annual Pro plan. If you expect your job search to last more than about five months, the $149 Lifetime plan costs less than five months of Pro, though you give up the monthly human review.
One inconsistency: the pricing FAQ says the free plan lets you "create unlimited cover and resignation letters", while the feature comparison table marks the cover letter and resignation letter builders as not included on Free. Check in the app before relying on either.
Key features
- Templates: the comparison table lists Standard, Compact, Alternative, Bold and Modern formats, and the homepage shows many more layouts, including Harvard-style and an adaptation of "Jake's Resume". Rezi says the Alternative format is meant for printed resumes that will not go through hiring software.
- Rezi Score: a section-by-section score with suggestions. Free users get a limited version.
- Keyword Targeting: paste a job description and Rezi lists keywords you are missing; it asks whether each one is relevant to your experience before you add it.
- Real-time content analysis: flags things like filler words, weak or unquantified bullet points and punctuation.
- Exports: PDF on all plans (three downloads on Free), plus Word and Google Drive on paid plans.
- Chrome extension: Rezi says it autofills applications on systems such as Workday, Greenhouse and Lever, tracks jobs you have applied to, imports your LinkedIn profile and generates role-specific interview questions. The extension page says autofill "is free, forever".
- Mobile app: an iOS app shows job listings with a 0 to 100 match score based on your Rezi resume, and can tailor your resume for a role before you apply.

Cancellation, refunds and billing
Rezi's pricing FAQ says it offers a 100% money-back guarantee on all paid plans (Pro and Lifetime): if you are unhappy, you can request a full refund within 30 days of purchase. You can upgrade or downgrade from the billing section of your account at any time, and Rezi says prorated credits apply when you switch.
The pricing page does not spell out how monthly Pro renewals or cancellations work beyond that, so if you only need Pro for a short search, note your renewal date and cancel from your account before the next charge. Rezi's privacy policy says card payments are processed by Stripe. For billing questions, the contact listed is support@rezi.io.
Rezi's terms also say Pro and Lifetime are licensed for personal, individual use only. Resume writers, career coaches, recruiters and agencies who build resumes for other people are expected to use Enterprise instead.
Privacy and data handling
Your resume contains your work history, contact details and sometimes more, so it is worth knowing what the policy says. According to Rezi's legal page:
- Rezi says it does not sell users' private personal information.
- It shares data with vendors that help run the service, such as Stripe for payments, email and customer chat providers.
- It collects usage data and uses cookies and pixel tags, and may use your profile (for example your field) to personalize content, target marketing messages and show relevant ads to some users.
- You can close your account from your dashboard in three confirmation clicks, and the policy says all of your data is then permanently deleted. You can also ask for deletion by emailing support@rezi.io.
- The policy describes GDPR rights for users in covered countries.
The homepage also shows an "AICPA SOC 2 Certified" badge. We did not see a report or further detail, so treat it as the company's claim. Avoid putting information on a resume that employers do not need, such as your full street address, date of birth or ID numbers, whichever tool you use.
Who Rezi suits, and who should skip it
- Good fit: active job seekers sending many applications who want to tailor each resume to a posting; students and career changers who want structure and suggestions; people who prefer a one-time payment and can use the Lifetime plan.
- Probably fine on Free: anyone who needs one polished PDF resume and does not need Word export.
- Think twice: if you only need a resume once and are happy formatting in a word processor, or if you need to share an account with someone else, which the personal-use terms do not allow.
- Skip: if you are a professional resume writer or recruiter looking for a cheap seat; Rezi points those uses to Enterprise.
Rezi coupon codes
We did not find a verified public coupon code, and we do not publish codes we cannot check. The ways to save that Rezi lists on its own site are the free plan (no card required), the one-time $149 Lifetime plan as an alternative to paying $29 every month, the free Chrome extension autofill, and the 30-day money-back guarantee on paid plans. Any working offers we find are listed on our Rezi coupons page.
Frequently asked questions
Is Rezi free?
Yes, there is a free plan with 1 resume, 1 AI interview, 3 PDF downloads and limited AI scoring and keyword tools. Unlimited resumes, Word export and the full feature set need Pro or Lifetime.
What is the difference between Rezi Pro and Lifetime?
Pro costs $29 a month and includes one human expert resume review each month. Lifetime is a $149 one-time payment with the same features, but no free monthly review.
Does Rezi offer refunds?
Rezi says you can get a full refund on Pro or Lifetime if you request it within 30 days of purchase.
Will a Rezi resume get past applicant tracking systems?
Rezi says its templates are designed to be ATS-friendly and its tools help match keywords. No tool can promise that a particular employer's system will rank your resume highly; the content and fit for the role still matter most.
Can I delete my Rezi data?
Yes. The privacy policy says you can close your account from the dashboard and your data will be permanently deleted, or email support@rezi.io to request deletion.
The bottom line
Rezi is a focused resume builder with ATS-oriented templates, a scoring system and keyword matching that make it easier to tailor a resume for each job. The free plan is useful for a single PDF resume, Pro at $29 a month suits an active search with a monthly human review, and the $149 Lifetime plan is better value if your search will run for months. Treat the interview-rate figures as marketing claims, check whether the free plan includes cover letters in your account, and use the 30-day refund window if it is not a fit.
