- The "6-free" standard. The FAQ defines this as no sulfates, parabens, phthalates, silicones, DEA or synthetic dyes across all products. The brand uses Ecocert-approved preservatives such as dehydroacetic acid and benzyl alcohol and warns that the color or scent of a product may change over time because of the natural extracts used.
