Lampech Review: Decorative Lamps and Ceiling Fans, and Policies That Don't Agree
Lampech is an online lighting store selling decorative table lamps, arc floor lamps, ceiling lamps, ceiling fans with lights and outdoor wall lights. Its FAQ says best sellers ship from a warehouse in Antioch, California, with some items sent from overseas locations, and it advertises free shipping on all orders. The site does not name a company or a business address. Most fixtures cost between about $180 and $400, with a few table lamps lower and crystal ceiling lamps and stained-glass floor lamps near $600.
This review covers what Lampech sells, the specs worth comparing, prices, shipping, and its return and warranty pages, which do not agree with each other.
At a glance Checked October 2026
Lampech suits shoppers looking for a statement lamp or a gold-finish ceiling fan with a light who are comfortable with a smaller online store. The main catch is that its return, refund and warranty terms contradict each other across pages, and no company name or address is published.
- Best for: Decorative mushroom and glass table lamps, arc floor lamps for over a sofa, and 52-inch ceiling fans with LED lights and remotes.
- Typical price: Most items $179.79 to $399.79; the range runs from $99.79 to $649.79.
- Shipping: Advertised as free on all orders; 7–14 business days to the US and UK, 10–14 to Australia and elsewhere; duties are the buyer's responsibility.
- Returns: The refunds page gives 30 days for unused items, with a $9.99 deduction and return shipping at your cost; another page says 7 days and store credit.
- Watch out for: Warranty claims of 2 years, 3 years, 30 days and "no warranty" on different pages; no business address; liability capped at $100.
What Lampech sells
The catalog had 92 listings across five collections, almost all added in 2022 and early 2023:
- Ceiling fans (23 models). Mostly 52-inch fans with LED lights in gold, black, white, wood-look and retro styles, plus a newer custom-length gold downrod.
- Floor lamps (20). Arc floor lamps with fabric, linen, crystal or metal shades, and stained-glass parrot floor lamps.
- Ceiling lamps (17). Crystal flush mounts, LED ring lights, drum, wood bead, hemp rope and candle-style fixtures.
- Table lamps (15). Mushroom lamps, glass ball and glass bulb lamps, and colored glass and bronze lamps.
- Outdoor wall lights (15). Wired lanterns and sconces plus solar-powered models with motion sensors.
Specs to compare: size, bulbs and power
Each product page ends with a short spec list. These are the details worth checking before you buy:
- Dimensions and weight. The Adjustable Arc Floor Lamp is listed at 81 inches tall with a 17-inch shade and about 22.7 lb. The K9 Crystal Ceiling Lamp is 43.3 x 43.3 x 7 inches and 26.76 lb, which matters for ceiling mounting.
- Bulbs. Some listings include a bulb (the arc lamp lists a 15W, 1,400-lumen LED with an E26 base and 150W maximum), while others only give a maximum wattage. Assume you may need to buy bulbs unless the page says they are included.
- Fan features. Ceiling fan pages list 52-inch spans, six speeds, reversible direction and remotes. The Golden Smart Ceiling Fan lists a DC motor, three dimming levels and three light colors; the White Ceiling Fan lists an AC motor.
- Solar lights. Solar wall lights are described as dusk-to-dawn with no wiring, mounted with two screws.
- Safety listings. We did not see UL or ETL certification stated on the product pages we checked. For hardwired fixtures and fans, confirm certification with the store and plan on a qualified installer.
Spec lists look partly templated: several solar wall lights show the same "Max Wattage 60, LED Bulb 30 Watt" lines used on wired lamps, so treat those numbers with caution.
Prices
Prices are shown in US dollars. Most listings cost $179.79 to $399.79, with a median near $300. Examples at the time of writing:
- Glass Ball Table Lamp: $99.79
- Mushroom Table Lamp: $179.79
- Adjustable Arc Floor Lamp: $229.79
- White Ceiling Fan: $279.79
- Golden Smart Ceiling Fan: $379.79
- Parrot Floor Lamp (stained glass): $599.79
- K9 Crystal Ceiling Lamp: $649.79
- Custom Golden Downrod: $22.90 (1 ft) to $148.90 (6.5 ft)
Listings show no "was" prices, so there were no markdowns to compare. One table lamp was listed at $1.00, which looks like a placeholder rather than a real price. The FAQ also says orders are processed tax-free, while the terms say prices exclude any applicable taxes.
Shipping
The homepage banner and FAQ advertise free shipping on all orders worldwide, but the shipping policy also says costs are calculated at checkout by weight, size and destination, so check the total before you pay. Orders are dispatched within about one business day, and the policy lists delivery times of 7–14 business days for the US, UK and Hong Kong and 10–14 for Australia, Europe and other locations. Shipments go by UPS; PO boxes are served by postal service only.
Best sellers ship from Antioch, California, and some items from overseas locations including Singapore and Peru, so one order may arrive in several parcels. International buyers pay any import duties and taxes, and if you refuse a parcel because of customs fees, the refund is reduced by shipping costs.
Returns: two different policies
Lampech's return terms depend on which page you read:
- Refunds & Warranties page: returns within 30 days of receipt for unused items with tags and original packaging. Defective items return free; for personal reasons you pay return shipping. A $9.99 fee is deducted from approved refunds, and original shipping is not refunded. Refunds go to the original payment method.
- Shipping policy page: change-of-mind requests within 7 days of receipt, refunded as store credit only.
- Terms and conditions: refunds may take 6–8 weeks to process.
To start a return, email service@lampech.com with photos, your order number and tracking number. Cancellations are accepted within 24 hours of ordering, and address changes must also be emailed within 24 hours. If a return matters to you, get the applicable terms confirmed in writing before you order.
Warranty: four different answers
The warranty position is the weakest part of the store. The FAQ says products have a 2-year warranty without giving terms. The K9 Crystal Ceiling Lamp listing promises 3 years against defects in materials and workmanship. The shipping policy says warranty claims must be made within 30 days of receipt, with you prepaying return shipping. The "Refunds & Warranties" page gives no warranty length at all, and the terms of service say products are provided without any warranties and cap the company's total liability at $100 per year.
Payment and contact
The FAQ lists Mastercard, Visa, American Express, Discover and PayPal, and the checkout footer also shows other card icons. Contact is by email at service@lampech.com or the contact form. The About page lists a phone number, +1 213 212 6948, described as toll-free, though 213 is a Los Angeles area code. The contact page says to write by mail but gives no address, and the terms cite the laws of Hong Kong.
Who should buy from Lampech
- Shoppers after a specific look, such as a glass mushroom lamp or a gold 52-inch fan, who have compared it with similar designs elsewhere.
- US buyers who can wait up to 14 business days and pay with PayPal or a credit card for added protection.
Think twice if you want a clear warranty, easy returns or a seller you can identify by name and address. Buying a large crystal fixture or fan you might need to return is the riskiest case here.
Lampech coupon codes
We did not find a verified public coupon code beyond what the store itself advertises, and we do not publish codes we cannot confirm. The homepage banner promotes 10% off with a site code, and the store advertises free shipping on all orders; listings showed no other sale prices. Any working offers we find are listed on our Lampech coupons page.
Frequently asked questions
Is Lampech legit?
Lampech runs a Shopify store with published shipping, refund and terms pages, an email address (service@lampech.com), a listed phone number and checkout through PayPal and major cards. However, the site does not name the company behind it or give a business address, and its return and warranty terms contradict each other. The main things to check are the total at checkout, which return policy applies to your order, and whether you can pay with PayPal or a credit card for buyer protection.
Where does Lampech ship from?
The FAQ says best sellers ship from a warehouse in Antioch, California, and some items from overseas locations including Singapore and Peru.
How long does Lampech shipping take?
The policy lists 7–14 business days for the US, UK and Hong Kong and 10–14 for Australia, Europe and other locations, after roughly one business day of processing.
Does Lampech charge for returns?
For change-of-mind returns you pay return shipping, and the refunds page deducts a $9.99 fee from approved refunds. Defective items are returned free.
Does Lampech offer a warranty?
The FAQ says 2 years and one listing says 3 years, but the shipping policy limits claims to 30 days and the terms disclaim all warranties. Ask for coverage in writing.
The bottom line
Lampech has an eye-catching range of decorative lamps, arc floor lamps and gold-finish ceiling fans at mid-range prices, with free shipping advertised on every order. The products may suit you, but the store's own pages disagree on returns and warranty and do not say who runs it, so pay with buyer protection and confirm the terms before ordering anything expensive.
