AVANT Skincare sells close to 200 products, and most single face products cost $87 to $142 in US dollars, so putting together a routine from the UK brand's site adds up quickly. This guide lays out the range by step, from cleanser to SPF, with the US prices shown and the sizes AVANT actually states, then compares building a routine yourself with buying one of the brand's pre-built sets. How AVANT organizes its range

The site lets you shop four ways: by category (cleansers, serums, moisturisers, eye care and so on), by benefit (such as "Hydrated," "Radiant" or "Firm"), by skin type (combination, oily, well balanced, blemish prone) and by named range (Age Radiance, Age Nutri-Revive, Age Defy+, Sensitive Collection, Blemish Battling and others). The range names are the most useful filter, because AVANT designs products within a range to be used together. If you avoid fragrance, start with the Sensitive Collection, since many other formulas list parfum in their ingredients.

AVANT product pages advise a 24-hour patch test before first use, and the FAQ recommends using products within 12 months of opening. Because only unopened items can be returned, introduce new products one at a time.

Step 1: Cleansers and micellar water ($87 to $110)

• Blue Volcanic Stone Purifying & Antioxidising Cleansing Gel ($110): a gel the brand calls "mild, non-drying" and "the perfect first step." The store lists an Original Pack plus 100 ml and 50 ml travel packs; the 3-Step Anti-Ageing Ritual set includes the 50 ml.
• Bi-Phase Hyaluronic Acid Rejuvenating Micellar Water ($87): a two-phase remover that AVANT says dissolves waterproof make-up from face, eyes and lips without rinsing.
• Dynamic Salicylic Acne & Blemish Battling Cleanser ($102): part of the Blemish Battling range, with salicylic acid.
• Sensitive PHA Pore Decongesting Cleansing Cream ($87) and PHA Rosacea Enzymatic Cleansing Cream ($87): cream cleansers aimed at sensitive skin. The second is marketed for "sensitive and rosacea-prone skin"; it is a cosmetic cleanser, and rosacea itself is something to discuss with a doctor.

Step 2 and 3: Toners and serums ($87 to $154)

AVANT sells two main toners: the Proactive Mandelic Acid Restoring & Anti-Pollution Toner ($92), which the brand describes as gently exfoliating, and the Pro Sensitive Balancing Niacinamide Pore Tightening Toner ($87) from the Sensitive Collection. You do not need both; pick by range.

Several serum pages carry strong claims; the R.N.A page, for example, says it is clinically proven to smooth wrinkles in 28 days. Those are AVANT's statements, and the studies are not linked from the pages.

Step 4 and 5: Moisturizers, eye cream and SPF ($89 to $139)

• Pro-Intense Hyaluronic Acid Illuminating Day Cream ($114): the brand's best-known day cream, in the Age Radiance range. A 50 ml Travel Pack is listed; the Original Pack size is not.
• Ultimate Hyaluronic Acid Resurfacing DUO Moisturiser ($119): described as designed for day or night use. AVANT lists 50 ml as its full size in the Odyssey set.
• R.N.A Radical Anti-Ageing & Lifting Duo Moisturiser ($119): 50 ml in the 3-Step Anti-Ageing Ritual set.
• Deluxe Hyaluronic Acid Vivifying Face & Eye Night Cream ($114): a night cream meant for the face and eye area, so it can double as an eye product.

These ship from a UK brand; sunscreen labeling rules in the US are different, so read the label and directions on the product page rather than assuming it follows US conventions.

AVANT also sells routines as sets. The comparison is not exact, because the single gel's size is not stated and the set may contain a smaller one. The Super Anti-Ageing Routine ($239) combines the Collagen Intense serum, Ultimate DUO moisturiser and Molecular Boost eye cream ($342 at single prices), and the listing gives the order: serum, then moisturizer, then eye cream.
