Barefoot Dreams robes look similar in photos, but they use three different size systems, come in at least three lengths and are made from different knits, so the right size depends on which robe you pick. The same goes for its loungewear, which runs from XS to XL for women, S to XXL for men, and "One Size" for wraps. We did not find a size chart that maps 0 to 3 onto chest measurements or US sizes. The listings instead give shoulder-to-hem lengths and model sizes, covered below. • CozyChic Ultra Lite with cotton: the Cotton Stripe Robe, described as "a lighter layer."
• Luxe Milk Jersey: a blend of modal, spandex and azlon from milk fiber, per the fabric page. The jersey robe has contrast piping and side seam vents.
• Brushed Luxe: the Lounge Robe is described only as "soft, brushed fabric," with no fiber content listed.

Heavier, plusher knits drape with more bulk, so a CozyChic robe in your usual size can feel roomier than a jersey robe in the same size.

Care, embroidery and exchanges

Barefoot Dreams gives one set of care rules for all its fabrics: machine wash on a delicate cycle in cold water with a gentle detergent; avoid heat, fabric softener and dryer sheets; tumble dry on the lowest heat, air fluff or lay flat, ideally air drying for the last 10 minutes; and store pieces flat rather than hanging them, to minimize stretching. That last point matters for robes, which are often hung on a hook.

Embroidery is the main sizing risk. The FAQ lists it for the CozyChic Adult Robe and CozyChic Throw, and several other robe and lounger pages note that embroidery is placed on the upper left chest. Embroidered items are final sale, take an extra 7 to 10 business days and should not have the backing removed.
