SodaPup Review: USA-Made Chew Toys, Lick Mats and Slow Feeders for Strong Chewers

SodaPup is a dog enrichment brand run by True Dogs, LLC, which describes itself as a veteran-owned business and ships every order from its warehouse in Longmont, Colorado. It sells chew toys, treat dispensers, lick mats and slow-feeder bowls, and says all of its products are made in the USA.

This review covers the catalog, the materials and rubber compounds, prices, shipping, and the return and guarantee rules to read before you order.

At a glance Checked October 2026

SodaPup suits dog owners who want US-made rubber and nylon chew toys, lick mats and slow feeders, with a choice of rubber compounds for different chewers. The main catch is that anything your dog has used cannot be returned, and sale and B-grade items are final sale.

  • Best for: Owners of strong chewers who want a choice of rubber compounds, and buyers who prefer US-made pet products.
  • Typical price: Most items cost between $10.99 and $21.99; the most common price points are $12.99 and $15.99.
  • Shipping: Free standard shipping on orders of $40 or more within the continental United States; most orders processed within 1–2 business days.
  • Returns: 30 days from the purchase date for unused items in original packaging; you pay return shipping unless the store erred or the product is defective.
  • Watch out for: Used items cannot be returned, damage must be reported within 7 days of delivery, and no transit times are published.

What SodaPup sells

The catalog lists around 200 products, almost all SodaPup's own designs:

  • Rubber chew toys and treat dispensers. The largest section: novelty shapes such as the Can Toy, Honey Pot and Gnome, plus balls, tugs, flyers and a military-inspired USA-K9 sub-range.
  • Nylon chews. Hard chews for aggressive chewers, in shapes from bones and antlers to a hot dog.
  • eMats (lick mats). Flat textured mats in large and small sizes, some with suction cups.
  • eTrays and eBowls. Shallow and deep slow-feeder bowls with patterned surfaces.
  • eCoins, eSticks and accessories. Nylon lick discs, a hand-held lick stick, suction-cup holders, silicone treat molds and an activity card deck.
  • Bundles, B-grades and bulk packs. Multi-packs, cosmetically blemished "seconds" sold without packaging, and 10- and 20-piece bulk packs aimed at daycares and kennels.

The Can Toy treat dispenser runs from $10.99 (small) to $21.99 (extra large) in the standard rubber.

Materials and choosing the right toy

SodaPup sells the same shapes in different compounds, so materials matter. The store says all its materials are FDA-compliant for food contact, BPA- and phthalate-free and meet Prop 65 standards, and that its natural rubber has been tested for heavy metals and phthalates. These are the brand's own claims.

The materials it lists are:

  • Puppyprene natural rubber in three compounds: Puppy (very soft, for teething puppies), Original (described as the right choice for most adult dogs and average chewers) and Magnum (black only, the toughest compound, for the most aggressive chewers).
  • PUP-X, a synthetic rubber the store recommends for average chewers and treat-dispensing toys.
  • PETstrong nylon for hard chews.
  • TPE and polypropylene for lick mats, trays, bowls and the eStick.

The store itself says no dog toy is completely indestructible. Its safety advice is to supervise dogs while they play, inspect toys often, replace worn or damaged toys and any that have become too small, and contact your veterinarian if your dog swallows a piece. Lick mats, trays and bowls are feeding devices, not chew toys. Pick the compound and size for your dog rather than the design, and supervise your dog with any toy.

The black Magnum Can Toy ($14.99–$23.99) uses the store's toughest rubber compound, sold for extreme chewers.

Prices

Prices are in US dollars. Most items cost between $10.99 and $21.99, and the most common price points are $12.99 and $15.99. The range runs from $3.50 treat molds to a $99.99 20-piece bulk pack for daycares. Examples at the time of writing:

  • Dogtastic Jelly Shots silicone mold: $3.50 (listed from $6.99)
  • Flower Tower nylon chew for small dogs: $10.99
  • Can Toy rubber treat dispenser: $10.99 (small) to $21.99 (extra large)
  • Honeycomb eMat lick mat: $13.99 (small) or $15.99 (large)
  • Mandala eTray shallow slow feeder: $17.99
  • Dog Enrichment Starter Pack, 7 pieces: $65 (listed from $99.98)

Some B-grade listings are "2 for 1" or "3 for 1" deals on blemished, unpackaged toys that the store says are fully functional but cannot be returned.

Shipping

All orders ship from SodaPup's warehouse in Longmont, Colorado. Standard shipping is free on orders of $40 or more within the continental United States. The threshold is counted after discounts and before tax. The store picks the carrier (USPS, UPS or FedEx) for free-shipping orders; faster options cost extra.

Orders to Alaska, Hawaii and international addresses do not qualify for free shipping, and international buyers pay any duties, taxes and customs or brokerage fees. Most orders are processed within 1–2 business days, Monday to Friday, and longer during holidays and promotions. The store does not publish transit times and says delivery dates are not guaranteed; tracking is emailed when the order ships.

Returns and guarantee: read the exceptions

You can return eligible items within 30 days of the purchase date. The clock starts when you buy, not when the order arrives. Items must be unused, in original condition and packaging, free from pet hair, dirt or odors, and come with proof of purchase. Refunds go back to the original payment method within 5–10 business days. Original shipping charges are not refunded, and you pay return shipping unless the store made an error or the product is defective.

The exceptions:

  • Anything your dog has used cannot be returned, even if your dog ignores it.
  • Sale, clearance and final-sale items and gift cards are not refundable. That covers B-grade bundles.
  • Damaged, defective or wrong items must be reported to info@sodapup.com within 7 days of delivery, with photos of the item and packaging.
  • Exchanges are only offered for defective or damaged items.

A separate guarantee page covers defects in materials and workmanship. Punctures and normal wear are excluded, and nylon toys are expected to wear down. If your dog chews large chunks off a rubber toy within 30 days of purchase, SodaPup says it will replace the toy if you send proof of purchase and a photo. Feeding products are not covered against destruction. The About page puts this more broadly ("we will replace any rubber toy within 30 days if your dog destroys it"), so use the guarantee page as the detailed version.

Payment and contact details

The store footer shows Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay and Amazon Pay, plus ACH direct debit and USDC. Contact is info@sodapup.com or 720-272-9664; returns go to the Longmont, Colorado warehouse.

Who should buy from SodaPup

  • Owners of strong chewers who want a choice of rubber compounds, including a dedicated toughest option, rather than one-size-fits-all toys.
  • Buyers who prefer US-made pet products with named materials.
  • Enrichment shoppers putting together lick mats, slow feeders and treat dispensers, especially through bundles that clear the $40 free-shipping threshold.

Think twice if you are not sure your dog will take to a toy: once a pet has used it, it cannot be returned, and B-grade and sale items are final sale. Shoppers in Alaska, Hawaii or abroad pay shipping on every order.

SodaPup coupon codes

We did not find a verified public coupon code at the time of writing, and we do not publish codes we cannot confirm. The savings you can rely on are free standard shipping on continental US orders of $40 or more, the store's multi-piece bundles, and its B-grade "2 for 1" and "3 for 1" listings (final sale). Any working offers we find are listed on our SodaPup coupons page.
